During the Covid pandemic, I had time to offer my skills at the Portabrace sewing mill in manufacturing masks. At home, I stayed very busy crating custom masks for my family, friends, and anyone who asked. The challenge of creating a complicated design that had different sizes and fit patterns was a high risk challenge. Constant alterations and variables like glasses, hearing aids, beards, and face shape would inspire me to redesign for the function and fit.
